Empire Strikes Back

During this summer I have decided to choose an organization that is close to my heart. I spent over ten years of my childhood here at this gymnastics gym.

Empire Gymnastics Academy is located in Bedford, Texas. Chris Brashier is the owner and manager.

On their website Empire Gymnastics Academy is being described as “quickly becoming recognized as a premier training facility with recreational and competitive women’s programs. With over 1000 square feet of pit areas, 2 spring floors, trampolines and tumble track, men’s and women’s Olympic events, Empire’s 25,000 square foot facility sets itself apart from the competition."

The mission of this gym is to use their excellent staff to ensure a safe and fun gymnastics experience for everyone. The main competitors are the other gymnastics gyms in the surrounding areas. Also competition could be other sports in general, if kids want to do those sports instead of gymnastics.

Empire’s most dominant attitudes and core values:

-kindness

-honesty

-hard work

-perseverance

-toughness

-flexibility in all aspects of life

Empire is different from other gyms due to its' family and homely style of coaching and teaching. The coaches truly care about the gymnasts in not only their gymnastics lives but also their personal lives. People can not always put their finger on it, but Empire is different.

The gym has gone through some tough times during this CO-VID 19 pandemic, but we are all confident that Empire WILL strike back.
