A sister. A leader. A daughter. A student. A gymnast. A teammate. A confidant. A friend. This is who I am. All of these things, not always at the same time, but I am all of these things in a day.
I am a proficient reader, writer, speaker, and communicator. I dabble in design and creating content. I have been around sports for over a decade and actually competed in college sports myself and can perform PR skills very well in this field. I have been a social media coordinator and social media content creator within the past year. I also have created a social media campaign for the famous soccer team AS ROMA. I enjoy PR because I really like being able to be the voice for someone else. I want to be able to give a voice to those who do not know how or are not able to. I have been fortunate enough to have opportunities in this field and I have enjoyed all of them immensely. I enjoy PR because it is a chance for me to write and use expression both which I enjoy. I like to write as a hobby and I think this field fits that great. Someone once said... “If you love what you do, you’ll never work a day in your life.” I am trying to live my life by that statement right there. I study PR because it is a passion of mine as well as it is a perfect outlet for my strengths and my character fits well in this field is what I have been told. I studied journalism for a bit, but this is my place in the world. My motivation in PR is to supply the world with quality content and things to entertain as well as inform. I think PR has been shown to be increasingly important during this 2020 year, therefore being able to be there for people and supply information is what motivates me. I am a senior on the OU Women’s Gymnastics Team, involved in the student athlete innovative leadership (SAIL) program, a member of the AWSM- OU chapter, emerging leaders rep. for the gymnastics team, and involved in FCA at OU. I volunteer at various elementary schools during the fall and spring semesters to represent the FANS assembly, animal shelters, and children’s hospitals. I also like to volunteer in the marketing department to promote the women’s gymnastics meets. I really enjoy volunteering and I love to give my time to others.
